Sony officially announced a set of compact full-frame E-mount prime lenses on March 23, 2021:

  • Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G Lens
  • Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G Lens
  • Sony FE 50mm f/2.5 G Lens

Now all these three new Sony lenses are available for pre-order at major US stores:

Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G Lens: $598 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G Lens: $598 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

Sony FE 50mm f/2.5 G Lens: $598 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

All three lenses have the same size, almost the same weight, and the same price ($599). When paired with a Sony Alpha full-frame or APS-C camera, all three lenses offer high resolution, intuitive operability, and fast, precise and quiet AF (autofocus) capabilities. The lenses were designed for a wide range of photo and video uses including portraiture, landscape, street photography and more.
